LUTHER’s brand of alternative metal is marked by complex yet groovy rhythms, heavy and emotional guitars, and extreme, soul-crashing, theatrical vocals. Through their music, LUTHER communicates emotions of isolation, betrayal, rage, and escapism.
The band is powered by lead extreme vocalist and strategist Leo Luther, Enrico Tiberi’s visionary production, Stefanos Kaisaris and Chris Crabtree’s vibrant electric guitars, and Javier Scorcia’s progressive drumming. The project also frequently features like-minded collaborators from the alternative metal scene.
Berlin-based LUTHER debuted in June 2025 with the single Next Time Send a Killer (Prod. Riff Grimez). The release reached more than 70,000 organic streams on Spotify and 30,000 views on the official music video in a short amount of time, and it was reviewed by multiple outlets in the digital metal scene.
In the same year, the band had the pleasure of opening for Escuela Grind and Silly Goose, and of playing in the same festival lineups as bands such as Ruins of Perception and Rising Insane.
LUTHER’s debut album will see the light of day in 2026, and its sound is heavily influenced by bands Loathe, Greyhaven, System of a Down, and Kim Dracula, blending together progressive metal, nu metal, hardcore, and a hint of emo.
The struggles of independent bands sadly are a reality in the LUTHER world as well, so if you wish to support, feel free to purchase the debut single Next Time Send a Killer on Bandcamp or book the band for your festival by reaching out through the contact button.
With love and gore,
LUTHER
