Luther is an alternative metal band led by vocalist and songwriter Leo Luther. The band is characterized by extreme vocal techniques, progressive metal elements, and the exploration and inclusion of metal music archetypes. Luther thrives on angst, anger, irony, and lust, channeling these emotions through lyrical themes and soundscapes.
The band is powered by the visionary touch of producer Enrico Tiberi (The Shell Collector) and features Stefanos Kaisaris' electric guitar and songwriting (Bipolar Architecture), as well as Javier Scorcia’s (Scorcia Music) expertise on drums, along with contributions from other like-minded musicians in the alternative metal scene.
Leo Luther's credentials as a vocalist stem from her tenure as the lead singer (2019–2024) and strategist for the progressive band R3VO, signed to Sony's sublabel InsideOut Music in 2023. During this time, Leo was featured in leading alternative music magazines, including Louder Sound (UK), Metal Hammer (DE), Heavy (AU), Rock Hard (IT), Powerplay (UK), Kaaoszine (FI), and more. She opened the second stage on the final day of the 2023 Euroblast Festival (DE) for progressive music.
